DTS Engineering Services (DES) was established to add value to Colombo Dockyard PLC as exclusive service provider in all is the Marine Engineering arm of the Group. DES has highly experienced and skilled and disciplined workforce. Over the years, the company has provided its services mainly to foreign ships, including ship owners, agents and ship operators.
CADVENTURE
Colombo Dockyard’s shipbuilding activities commenced in 1974 with the construction of small tug boats, patrol boats, and barges which are now an important revenue source for the company.The company has been successful in securing orders from both local and overseas clients by competing with leading shipbuilders worldwide and is now in an enviable position rivaling shipbuilding yards that specialize in the construction of high powered and complex tug boats as well as aluminum-hulled high-speed boats which are a part of our wide spectrum of shipbuilding capacity.
ICT Solution Center
Dockyard Total Solutions (DTS) is a fully owned subsidiary of Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC), which provides full scale integrated ICT solutions for external entities through their Integrated ICT Solution Center, which is formulated as a diversified business segment, considering the CDPLC ICT systems engineering knowledge, capabilities and superior experience in ICT sector.
